Do you have some "Fertilize All" bags that you'd like to use but perhaps:
1. You don't want to use it right when you plant because your neighbors won't have anything to fertilize when they stop by and therefore won't get the most Coins/ XP they can from their visit.
2. You don't want to use it when you're about to harvest because many of your crops are already fertilized and you feel like you might waste some of this special gift.
Here's what I do in this case to make sure I get the most of my Fertilize All bags, and still have plots for my neighbors to fertilize. This works best if your farm is all one crop, or if you have at least 2 bushels of each crop to use for your extra mastery or XP bonus.
Step 1 Harvest fertilized crops
Make sure you use a bushel before you Harvest all the Fertilized crops. Zoom in and search around to make sure you got them all.
Step 2 Plow
PLOW all the Fallow land, don't forget those little spots here and there where you picked up the fertilized crops. Your farm is going to be all either plowed or unfertilized crops at this point with no fallow land showing.
Step 3 Use bag
USE the 'fertilize all' bag that you have stored in your gift box. These come from having a full beehive with a popup once in a while. You may also have gotten a bunch on September 11th as a free gift.
Step 4 Harvest
Finish harvesting all the now fertilized crops. Remember to switch bushels if you have more than one type of crop grown.
Step 5 Plow and Plant
Plow and plant as usual. This area will not be fertilized and your neighbors will be able to use it when they come visit!
Tips
- If you get a LOT of visitors each day you may wish to plant a short term crop after using the bag, or your field may get completely fertilized and some neighbors won't get that XP / coins from their visit.
- Use the bag right before you're ready to harvest so your neighbors can still visit and get fuel/ XP.
