Despite becoming a household name in the social gaming world, "FarmVille" has recently lost some momentum. The game hit a slump last month as it dropped from 82 million players in March to 78 million at the end of April. (Data from AppData)Farmville isn't the only casual browser game to feel the pain: 18 other games, including Zynga's other hits Cafe World and Mafia Wars, lost a significant number of players as well.
Does it mean Farmville or social games are dying?

No it will not die - there are too many faithfuls out there plus new players who will join.
