**You must wait 24 hours from the last time you got a calf!!! The dairy says it's ready to collect in 23, so make sure you write down or check your posts for when you last got a calf, then wait that extra hour.**

I start with all 5 of my dairies ready and with one bull in each. I collect milk from the dairy with all 19 of the special cows I want.

(Today I had 4 Neapolitan, 4 Tuscany and 11 Long horn cows in my dairy)

Then just collect milk, wait for a popup, and continue to stuff into the next dairy until you get the calf!

I always buy as many of the new, limited edition cows as i can so I am more likely to get a rare calf. I take all others out and leave them around the farm so I wont accidentally get one of those.

**This was my first screen recording using this program so the top was cut off, but I think you can still see what was going on**

I realize that I kind of left the bull part hazy.
What I do is always leave the bulls in, I never move them. I took out ALL my cows that I don't want to make babies of and leave ALL the rest in. It's nice to just have 1 full dairy and transfer the cows to the next ready dairy if it doesn't produce for you. You can leave some cows in the other dairies if you have 'special' ones that you want to make calfs from.

You saw all the orange cows on my farm, I actually kept my dairies full because they all were full of fan cows. But now, I want to make different calfs and don't want to buy 60 tuscan cows or neapolitan, so I'm just moving them into the next one.

**If you take everything out, including the bull, it restarts the counter on that dairy at 0%. This can be useful if you go through all your dairies and don't get a calf because you can find a cow on your farm that might be almost ready, and put it in, load it up with the bull and your favorites (take out the primer cow) and harvest when ready, instead of waiting until the next day.

Here's an even more in depth explanation of how I interact with my dairies:
So what I do is just have as many dairies on my farm as possible. (5 max for coins. I once had 7 because I bought some, but I don't think its necessary now)
In 4 of my dairies I have only 1 bull. In the last dairy I have 19 special cows and 1 bull.
I wait 24 hours after I got my last calf, then I first harvest the full dairy.
If nothing happens, I look inside and remove the cow into the next ready dairy. Continue this until it's full, moving all the special cows into the same ready dairy. Collect milk and hope for a calf.
Repeat until you get a calf. I usually do end up getting the calf in the first or second dairy, but occasionally have stuffed all 5 ready dairies and gotten nothing.

If you get nothing after all 5 try this:
Take everything out, including the bull, it restarts the counter on that dairy at 0%. Find a cow on your farm that is almost ready, put it in the empty dairy, load it up with the bull and your favorites (take out the primer cow) and collect when ready, instead of waiting until the next day. *Keep in mind, you wont be able to get the calf until 24 hours after the one before, so don't waste your ready dairy harvests.

After you get your calf, share it and then harvest the other dairies in hopes of getting extra fertilizer!
